My friend Carl Macdonald was gracious enough to allow me to stay at his place while I was in Regina a few weeks ago. We talked briefly about RFP evaluations and how the award criteria for some agencies are calculated.
He mentioned that he has seen it as high as 70% which means the award is all about price.
I then saw this document that Supernegotiate put together and I saw that it has some excellent hints and tips that you might want to try.
I personally believe that what is needed when setting up a criteria for award that there should be a focus on quality, service, delivery and then price. If you don’t have the first 3 then perhaps you might end up regretting your decision.
