If you have taken a few business courses, I am sure you have heard of Porter. Blue Ocean isn’t as well known.
What you might have noticed is that QCsolver’s logo is blue. On top of being the most popular color, it all represents for us Blue Ocean Strategy and Blue Sky thinking.
Blue sky thinking refers to brainstorming with no limits. With this approach to idea generation, ideas don’t need to be grounded in reality. Instead, blue-sky thinking sessions are open to all creative ideas regardless of practical constraints. Blue Ocean is about creativity.
Of course, the practical part of me will turn concepts into a reality that works.
