I just love quotes that I heard growing up. You know the ones that stick with you and you are not sure where they came from but you say them over and over again.
I thought of one today and went looking for the author. To my amusement it was from one of my favorite comedians. Which is most like why it made an impact. Jack Benny had a dry wit about him which I love.
Growing up, I was always concerned about what others thought. I would guess it is the same now as it ever was.
For me the difference is that although I still might care what others think, I make sure that I remain true to myself and do those things that bring me joy. Which is why I am still working and enjoying every minute.
