I do think that Canada is made up of bright and innovative individuals. And we have been home to some of the most iconic companies that were respect around the world (Blackberry & Nortel) for their successes.
I also hear about the inroads Canadians are having in a number of industries. What I found somewhat disappointing when I looked at the ranking of the top global market capitalization was the we only had one company on the list and it was a bank.
I checked out number 2 and 3 of the largest Canadian companies by market cap and they were also banks. I just wish we had more variety and more that make the list.
