The concept is called Freemium. The term is used when you give something for free and then later on make money. I was in a meeting recently, and I should have explained this term when asked how much the client would be charged.

At QCsolver, we are now offering to a few select customers our vendor performance management software free of charge. This is where you get to use the product, and after you are happy, you decide if you would like to pay and continue using the services.

If you don’t like our system, then no harm, no foul.

You will most likely like what you see, and we will then have a customer for life. You will then tell their friends, who will talk to their friends and….
