Supply chain is a very varied field with a lot of acronyms. BOM or Bill of Materials is one you will hear a lot when you are in a manufacturing environment.
Thankfully Ravi Nishant put this nice little document.
By the way, BOM might sound easy until you are dealing with thousands of parts for each assembly and you have a hundred different products.
Only then will you know how challenging this topic is especially when you are missing one or two parts to finish.
