This week, I thought I would showcase the talents of Colleen Paulson.
In her tips document you will find some very sound advice. When I am asked to review a resume, I tend to focus on what is mentioned in her handout. Keep in mind that when you apply for a job you are maybe one of 200 others that want the position. You have to stand out.
Most of the time, the resumes I see are simply a list of tasks. No context, no measurements, and no compelling story. Perhaps this document will help you.
