My next few posts will be about category management. This is another great image from CAPS Research. Lately I have seen a lot more job postings for this position and I always see that the companies posting want experience and technical skills. Based on the research that CAPS has done, I would think that the soft or business skills needed are far more critical.
I would like to think that I have skills in all of these areas. Maybe I will see if there is a test we can take to track which skills and capabilities we should be building.
