I have been predicting that there is going to be a shortage of labour for some time. Or many there just won’t be enough talent.
Hiring now is the art of convincing one employee to move to another employer and pay them more money.
My preference is to take someone that has the aptitude and attitude and give them a chance to learn. I am a firm believer in a paid internship.
I would hope that as my business grows in 2023 that I will be in a better position and will be able to offer more chances to those that have what it takes.
Maybe this is a tactic that you should also consider.
