This week has a theme; hopefully, you will guess what it is. Everywhere I go, there is a shortage of talent. I suggest that this is not always the case and what you should do to expand your horizons. Look to the pool of brand-new graduates who need a bit of supervision and guidance. Interview new Canadians and see for yourself that their experience is adaptable and relevant.

Most of all, consider those who still want to work but maybe not full-time. Seasoned employees wish to contribute, and as the image below suggests, there are several excellent reasons why they should be considered.

Do not overlook the power of what I call the “Grey-haired factor.”
