The supply chain profession is chock full of acronyms. I do have my own that I use a lot. Everyone knows the term FOB but check out what it really means. It isn’t Freight but rather Free on board.
My acronym is FBO. Which stands for Flashes of the Blindlingly Obvious. It is those things that once you notice you will never forget. Like the arrow in the FedEx Ground logo.
Thankfully Tom Mills is a wonderful, gifted, and dedicated individual and he has shared this one document that will soon become your main resource. Even if you are a seasoned professional, there will be some that you didn’t know or that you had forgotten.
