It would seem that this is an area that needs a little bit more attention. The sad state outlined in this image does not reflect those trying to improve their process. Instead, it is a bi-product of a practice that has endured for over 50 years.

Every organization feels that they are responsible for maintaining its own data. Suppliers have multiple clients that they are working with.

Years ago, I came up with a term: One touch, only touch, which means key it in once and then automate the sharing.

This is why QCsolver was designed with the principle of one source of information distributed/shared/connected with the various organizations that need the same information.

Some will see challenges with this approach, while others will at least be curious.

I do wish that the curious would reach out and ask me questions.
