This term is the latest buzzword that everyone is talking about. What I find strange is that organizations have been going digital for years. I like this visual because it does explain why there might be a new focus.

When I do my own planning, I have one thought in mind. Is the same data stored in one location and then shared? Does the data have to be entered manually versus an automatic transfer?

I also wonder why, if a fortune is spent on software systems that Excel is still the number one program being used.
