This isn’t a trick question. It would seem that there are a few people who are not aware of the subtle yet distinctive differences.

The topic kind of reminds me of someone I knew. Let’s call him “Rolly”. Rolly was a carpenter who only used an axe. He was good at what he did. Not great but good enough to make a living. Using other tools would have made him much more efficient but he liked his axe.

Some supply chain professionals are like Rolly. They use the same methods because that is what they know. Maybe it is time for them to see if there is a better way.
