Here is some other sound advice. Practice your answers until you are comfortable with the process. Ask someone to ask you the questions you fear. That way when you are asked in an interview you are ready.

Apply for contract jobs even if you want full-time. I always believe it is better to be working than searching. You have a much better job getting a contract job as there seems to be fewer applicants. Also when you are on a contract you have a chance to get a full-time job with the company should one come up.
