I am sure that there are a lot of people that do and there are a lot who wish they could. China is both a great manufacturing source and a huge target market.
I thought it would be great to share a few of my observations. I also found this great summary that you might use to get started or maybe check out an alternative. The list was put together by Inspaction Sourcing.
The only city on my list would be the City of Qingdao which I have visited on a number of occasions. They are known for their textiles, electronics and beer.
If you are reluctant or you don’t have the budget to travel then maybe you should consider going to the Building Show that is held each year at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Last year there must have been at least 20 Chinese companies with a booth.
