I particularly like the concept of a self-serve portal.

It is amazing that suppliers who deal with multiple clients have to go into a variety of websites in order to update their profiles. Or they have to submit their information individually and then someone has to key it in for them.

All this takes time, effort, and money. It also causes a number of data integrity issues.

Wouldn’t it be simpler if instead, it was a distributive model? This means the supplier keys in the data once which I call the one source of truth. Then the information is distributed to all of their clients through the use of an API (Application Programming Interface).

Think of the hours you could end up saving.
